PAHAL was registered on 24 March 2004. Its work is concentrated in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, and it operates as a participatory organisation: programmes are designed with the communities they serve, and success is measured by what those communities can do afterwards.
Legal status
PAHAL is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act. Its registration number, PAN and tax-exemption registrations are published on the Transparency page as they are confirmed.
